Green unions hit the headlines

Everyone's talking about it, eco-chic weddings have hit the headlines with BBC Radio 4 getting tips from an ethical bride last week and a film of some GreenUnion partners from the Westcountry was transmitted by British Satellite News around the world on Friday. There's talk of green weddings in Daily Candy, Style Bible, the Daily Express, and even Reuters have taken up the baton and spread the word as far as Belgium, South Africa and Korea.

Eve Jackson at Central News in Nottingham is planning to do a feature on green weddings in the Midlands, looking at things like eco honeymoons, wedding venues etc. They're hoping to find a couple who are getting wed greenunion style in the East Midlands who'd be happy to talk to them about their forthcoming nuptials. And they'd also like to talk to companies in the region that cater for eco chic weddings.

He's planning a relaxed interview with the bride and groom and would love to find out more about their suppliers, perhaps eavesdropping on a couple meetings and even recording some of the joyous sounds of the wedding day.
