Delivery & ReturnsWe aim to get your purchases to you as quickly as possible. As a large proportion of the products on the site are hand made to order by a range of specialist suppliers, delivery times vary between 2-3 days and 6-8 weeks. You can find delivery times for each product category in the relevant product section. Very often the suppliers will be able to deliver items sooner. Most of the products listed on GreenUnion are EXCLUSIVE of postage and packing unless otherwise stated within the Site. Delivery is carried out by our partners and by their own chosen methods. Our suppliers aim to use the quickest, safest and most cost effective delivery method and that depends on what needs to be delivered. Generally they use a courier service for safe delivery of heavy, bulky or fragile items and Royal Mail for smaller, lighter items if they can be safely packed and posted, but all items will require a signature on delivery so please take this into account when giving us a delivery address.
If the item is unusually bulky or heavy, either GreenUnion or our partner will contact you to arrange delivery. As all our products are delivered to you directly from our suppliers we have no control as to what packaging material they use, other than to make suggestions. But we encourage them to minimize the use of packaging materials so you will most likely find that your purchases will arrive in recycled and reused packaging material wherever possible. Do you deliver to Europe and the rest of the world?Yes, although we ask you to email us before you order so that we can work out the best delivery options for you, depending on what you're ordering and how quickly you need it. (The variations in delivery methods, depending on the weight of the parcel, timing and destination, are vast.) We can then calculate the extra delivery charges before you place your order. We can take your order and credit card details, for payment, securely over the phone or by email. Can I have things delivered to two different addresses?Yes. The most straightforward way to do this is to make two separate orders. Each separate address/order will incur its own delivery charge if applicable. How will I know when my bespoke purchase is ready for despatch?If you have ordered a bespoke item, either GreenUnion or the supplier will contact you to let you know it is ready and when they plan to deliver it. This will generally be by email. We aim to give you at least a day's notice. If they suggest a day that is no good for you, please contact them as soon as possible to discuss options. They will arrange delivery for another day or you could give them a different delivery address. Do you need a signature on delivery?For your security, we prefer it if a couriered package is signed for so that we can trace it. Please note that we cannot be held liable if a delivered package is stolen although we will do our best to help sort out the problem. How long will it take for my order to arrive?Our suppliers will despatch all goods within the quoted time from receiving cleared payment for your order. Realistically, you will receive most items more quickly. Delivery times for each product is displayed on the relevant pages on the site. You can imagine that all our suppliers get very busy in the weeks leading up to Christmas and Valentines Day. Please give us as much notice as possible if you want to place orders for this time. We don't want you to miss any important dates! What happens if anything is damaged during the delivery process?We do everything we can to prevent this, but if an item is broken en route, please let us know immediately - and certainly within two working days of receipt. We will work with you to resolve the problem as quickly as possible. What happens if I want to change my mind about an order or it doesn't fit?We hope you won’t want to change your mind! But if you need to, or the garment doesn't fit, please contact the supplier who has sent you the item as soon as possible - and certainly within 7 days of receipt.
